It was a bit faded. The safe did not work in our room. The staff came to fix it but it needed a new battery which was never brought by the hotel

Very Good

Very unique rooms with character. Very different from chain hotels in a good way. The breakfast wasn’t great though. Location was good with lots of restaurants and bars nearby.

It served my purpose, and it is a good place to stay.

It was an excellent option, location, location…Excellent staff, Federico gave me accurate information about places, restaurants, museums and more. All of them made my stay more pleasant. Excellent breakfast!

The property needs a little love, but is great for the value.

Friendly staff, good location

The staff was friendly and helped us with many things, like finding a vegan friendly restaurant, ordering taxis, and allowing us to use the baggage storage. The room was clean. The hotel is close to a lot of bars and restaurants.

The shower drain didn't work properly, and there was noise coming from the other rooms through the walls at night.

Good value hotel in outstanding location.

Outstanding location, nice sized room with comfortable beds and bathroom. Staff were very helpful and let me use their computer to check-in for my flight and print boarding passes, and also gave good advice about how to get around town.

The hotel was a little tired looking and could do with a facelift.

Reasonably priced hotel in a good location.

It was well located, close to dining locations, friendly staff and decent, clean rooms. Breakfast was excellent and filling.

It is a bit dated, but everything else made up for it.

Great location but not worth the price

The property has a lot of charm, however, definitely needs renovations like other guests and reviews have suggested already

Major drilling both next door and in the hotel itself. It started already at 7:30 until 19:00 so basically the whole day. It was extremely loud and disturbing. The price should be lowered given this noise as it’s basically impossible to enjoy this stay as a holiday and it’s not fair to pay so much Breakfast included a lot of sweet options but the basics were then not there (no normal cold milk or natural yoghurt)

Would defo return. Great place for a solo female traveller.

Friendly, helpful, room was quiet even though it was street facing! Really lovely breakfast with fruits and dairy alternatives. All staff were fabulous.

Great location! Basic/good amenities and overall stay.

The hotel is undergoing big renovations in the reception area which affects the entrance and breakfast area. This made the vibe less nice as we had to go through temporary doors and pathways.

Ok!

The location is really good. The staff is good. They have answered all of our questions. Breakfast was nice. Not a huge variety of staff but ok.

Two main things I would like to mention; - The building is an old one which is not a negative thing, on the contrary it made us to choose this venue to spend time in an authentic hotel. However rooms are not very well kept. The bathroom floor in our room was always wet as water is leaking from several parts of the room. The closet was so old, sear cover was moving. On our 3rd day, even the screws came out. I was about to sit on one of them and hurt myself. ( Good thing, even before we say something, they see this and send someone to repair it) - On our last day, we found our hotel room door open when we arrived back to hotel. It was not acceptable. We directly went to reception. They were also surprised and they let us to see the security cameras. In the end, the repairmen accidently let the room door open. We did not loose anything howevet this incident is something that should never ever happen in a hotel. When we consider all, I think place is over priced.

Classico is great

Friendly helpful from the kitchen to front desk. Frederico really helpful. Breakfast is good and location great for shops and bars of Palermo/Soho. The Pescatoria restaurant across the street is very good.

Room was comfortable and clean but the hotel could probably do with a make over, but still has an old world charm (parquet floors etc).

Loud Construction JACKHAMMING next to this hotel-beware Jan 2024

The front desk staff is bilingual english /spanish and super friendly and helpful with any questions. There is a small lift which makes going to the upper floors convenient with luggage. The bed was comfortable. Room was clean. Water pressure good. Location great for restaurants, coffee shops, ice cream shops. A pretty boutique hotel.

This property is touching another property that is currently undergoing construction. They are still working /constructing the ground floor and basement of this large property Jan 2024. There were jackhammers and drills and power tools and hammering ALL DAY LONG! The noise stopped around 6pm and even though front desk told us there wouldn’t be construction noise on the weekend, we woke up Saturday to some workers hammering away. OMG it was so loud and not relaxing. I know this isn’t the hotels fault-that TWO buildings near them are undergoing construction -but I wish I knew that before booking.(photo of building across street but also there is a building next door under construction) The other unsettling thing was the amount of fruit flys around the breakfast breads. The women hosting the breakfast were sweet, but obviously couldn’t rid the food of the tiny flies everywhere. The breakfast spread was average.

Good

Staff was good to pack our breakfast for to go as we had an early flight. Location was good. At the time of check in, there was no elevator service, we had to walk to 4th floor. staff helped with lifting luggage. Facilities in the room (toilet, faucet, etc.) are not placed in a convenient way.
